Late last night I was sitting in my living room when my fat dog barked, and my cat scratched at the window. This station wagon pulled up near my home and out stepped the original Bat-Man. For some reason I always expected to see him wearing armor and be really big and strong. Actually batman is a very small man in his 70s with a baggy saggy suit. He has a cane, and likes talking to himself a little. This is a shot of his vehicle. I learned that he first appeared in original Detective Comics back in 1939. So his age totally makes sense. You might be wondering why he came over and how I got this great shot of his car, and why he is such a fan of those other cartoon characters he painted on his wagon (like donald duck and the south park kids). Well as it turns out, he was so sick the hollywood hype that's been surrounding the Batman movies of the past 20 years that he decided to go into hiding and refurbish old station wagons by painting his own art on them. He stopped over at my home because he wanted to see if I might have some cartoons on VHS he could borrow. He wants to use them as reference for his newest model wagon he is working on for David Spade. Cool! I gave him an old Popeye tape that I had stuffed in a grocery bag about 9 years ago. He liked and we watched it together, deciding if he should build a unique wagon with Brutus or Wimpy as the lead character on the door. We decided on using Alice The Goon.
