i took these two shots within the same 10 min. and did not plan on this. Recently i saw an add for Delta on the subway where they created a unique double shot joined in two circles similar to this this. The bike is floating. Let me know what you think of this one -

Crossing the Gowanus in snow thunder

Just before shooting this image over the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn there was snow thunder and snow lightening. Taken on the little digital, S90 and post work in Lightroom. This storm brought about 13 inches of snow.

In los angeles i shot a great event where the Lucent Dossier Experience performed around the floor throughout the night. Obviously this photo has been doubled, then mirrored and flipped to achieve this cocoon effect, but it seemed like fun. This is Sara Llewellyn bending like not many people can.

window sun light ignite. these two shots are from different places but together create a mood. Photographers can create a subtle feeling with two images side by side similarly to how a musician can evoke a true tingle in a person's soul by singing two words, or combining two notes. A single shot is pretty, but pretty with an accent beautiful. The first shot was taken in riceville tennessee as I made my way across the country with brent. we were leaving and this is the morning light the day after halloween 2010. the second shot is more recent and comes from chicago on an unusually warm afternoon.

Pheasant Trail Mist

ringing in the new year with some 57 degree chigago weather in this shot. I still haven't fully figured out mist, but I think it comes and likes to hang out when the ground is still cold and the air is warm. But I still can't be sure why it decides to leave when it does, in this case it had better places to be and sauntered off into 2011. This is taken in the burbs of chicago near the Farrey Household. Hope you like it.

not in california anymore. Looking out of the Ikea window into new territory very close to our new place. Old boat-picker-uppers in the Erie basin in front of the statue of liberty and Manhattan. Nothing good came of the trip to Ikea with nat other than this picture and a new clay pot for "succky" the plant.

unaltered shot taken from the front bumper of my beloved Tacoma on it's last real road trip, and coincidentally of James Dean's last cruise down a hill exactly 55 years ago at the exact time back in 1955 Sept 30th moments before he crashed and was killed. Launching him into a world of fame he otherwise may never have known.
